We had a great day yesterday ! The Lord truly blessed and we surely felt the Lords spirit. I must say that the Lord has blessed in the past few months. We have had three saved and have had one baptized. GOD IS SO GOOD!!! We do need your prayers that the Lord would open doors for our youth. We are starting to get together some things that are geared toward our youth. In January we will be starting bible drills or bible quiz to get our youth to understand the importance of studying the bible. Of course we understand that if left up to themselves they, for the most part, will not study on their own so we are going to make it fun for them and show them that the bible is meant for them too. I do want our youth to feel a part of the church and not feel left out. Please pray for us as we endeavor to get this underway. I know that the Lord will do great things for those that obey him and do his will.

It's Here !

Well, Christmas is finally here! People getting up earlier than usual, trying to get a head start on the days activities. And of course I'm no different. I would like to take the time and wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year as well.

Lets not forget though what this day is all about. It's about the birth of a son who would come to seek and save that which is lost. Many other religions do not recognize his birth nor does the majority of his own people. We know that it happend and that he is no doubt what Christmas is all about!

Again, Merry Christmas, and may God make his face to shine upon you this happy, blessed day.

Christmas Season

I'm truly greatful for what God gave us over 2,000 years ago. Not only was his son a babe in a manger at Bethlehem, but more importantly was and still is the only savior for the entire world. What the world has made this season out to be is, I believe, despicable in the eyes of the Lord. To many times we as Christians get caught up in the worlds frame of mind and lose sight of what this season really is.

During this season, take time and really look at what this season is really about. Read in Luke the real reason why we celebrate his birth. He came to give us life and more abundantly. It all started in the town of Bethlehem in with a baby not of this world but of the world to come and not of an earthly father, but of a heavenly Father that sent him to save the lost.
